This individual would oversee all formation offerings for people of all ages within the parish as well as Sacramental Preparation for First Sacraments and Confirmation.

We are seeking an organized, detail oriented, and self-motivated individual to join our Lifelong Faith Formation team. This position will assist with items such as: processing registrations and fees, tracking attendance, organizing material distribution, Sacramental paperwork, and Sacramental record keeping. This is a part-time position with an opportunity for flexible scheduling. Potential for full-time work for the right individual by pairing with the Coordinator of Youth Events part-time position.

Lifelong Formation Administrative Assistant Job Description


Coordinator of Youth Events

We are seeking an individual who has a passion for leading youth and young adults closer to Christ through transformative events. This individual will also be detail oriented and self-motivated to organize a variety of events throughout the year. This position will involve tasks such as: promoting events, processing registrations and fees, ensuring proper number of qualified adults are attending, fundraising opportunities, and personally attending certain events throughout the year. Events coordinating may include (but not limited to): NET Lifeline Masses, Archdiocesan Youth Day, retreats, pro-life events, high school mission trip, middle school camp, Steubenville youth conference, Cor Jesus (for young adults), and vocational discernment opportunities. This is a part-time position with an opportunity for flexible scheduling. Potential for full-time work for the right individual by pairing with the Lifelong Formation Administrative Assistant position.

Afternoon Preschool Lead Teacher (Part – Time)

St. Joseph School seeks a part-time lead preschool teacher for our growing preschool program.  The teacher will work as a member of the preschool team and confer with the preschool director about instructional practice. The lead teacher will have a solid understanding of child development, develop an appropriate learning and social environment, and develop positive school community relationships. This part time teacher will lead the preschool room in the afternoons and close the preschool each day, likely from 2:30 p.m.-6:00 p.m.

Nursery Assistant (Part-Time)

The St. Joseph Community Nursery is seeking an energetic and nurturing individual to provide care for children from 1 to 4 -year-old children during our 10:30am Mass each Sunday from September through May.  No weekends or holidays!  We are seeking an 18+ and a 21+ -year-old to serve alternating weekends and as needed for special events.

Part-Time Building Monitor & Custodian Wanted

St. Joseph Community has an opening for a part-time/on call building monitor & custodian. Responsibilities include: setting up and taking down tables, light janitorial work and monitoring the building security. This position will also be available to fill in with a few hours to days notice. The shifts being covered are week nights and weekends.  Must be a parishioner and at least 18 years old.  If interested, please pick up an application at the Parish Office.
