Vocations

“What will you do with your life? What are your plans? Have you ever thought of committing your existence totally to Christ? Do you think that there can be anything greater than to bring Jesus to people and people to Jesus?”
-Saint Pope John Paul II

Discerning God’s Call

Not sure where God is calling you in your Vocation? Do you feel as though God is calling you to the Priesthood or the Religious Life? Or maybe you’re just not sure if the married or single life is where God is calling you?

Discerning God’s will in your life does not need to be done alone. The Archdiocese of St. Paul & Minneapolis has a wonderful “Office of Vocations” and is here to help! Check out 10,000 Vocations to learn more about discernment and to connect with people locally.

If you prefer, you can also connect with Fr. Paul Kammen here at the parish to talk about Vocations. Fr. Paul can be reached at Paul.Kammen@StJosephCommunity.org or 651-313-8466.

Quo Vadis Vocations Camp for 14-17 Year Olds
Save the Date! July 19-22, 2020
Registration NOW Open!

Cost is only $150 per person (all meals included)
The first time many of our youth today are asked the question, “Where are you going?”, is usually at their High School graduation, posed as an inquiry as to which college they plan to attend in the Fall. How much better it would be if our Catholic youth were encouraged to ponder this fundamental question earlier! A Quo Vadis Camp experience for young men and women will provide them with this opportunity to question where they are going and instruct them on how to listen to God’s call to holiness. More information at http://www.10000vocations.org/quo-vadis.html
