An online Pop Up Auction is coming to St. Joe’s! 

Are you missing our fun and fabulous St. Joseph School Spring Gala?  We do too!  Let’s bring a little of that celebratory feeling back with an online Pop Up Auction!   

Starting August 13, everyone is invited to view and bid on fun experiences and items.

Returning favorites include photography by Father Paul, a winter cabin getaway, family entertainment packages and more!

Funds from this effort will support instructional materials, increased mental health and nursing staff, and support changing operational costs.

Gala Update 7-23-20:
As we all know, COVID19 has taken a toll on nearly all special events these past few months,
including our own experience with Mass and Eighth Grade Graduation and of course, our
Annual School Gala. Initially we chose to postpone the Gala until September 2020. Most
recently, we have decided to reschedule the Gala to April 2021.

We are disappointed and sad to postpone this beloved event. However, in this ever-changing
landscape of a global pandemic, information and circumstances change rapidly and we must
pay attention and adjust where necessary. As our school response team works to ensure a
safe and practical school opening in the Fall, the Gala Committee chose to reschedule the Gala
for the Spring when our communities are safer and more willing to gather.

Good News! We will host an online Pop-Up Auction August 13 – September 4 to leverage
donations from our community and help offset the loss of Gala revenue. This effort can raise
$12,000. With sponsorship’s that number grows to $28,600—that’s a recovery of over half of
our $45,000 2019-20 event goal.

Gala Update: The Annual St. Joseph School Gala is a festive event that brings school families, parishioners and our community together to support the teachers, staff and students of our school.  It is also our largest fundraising effort of the year.  Due to the closure of our church and school, the St. Joseph School Gala, previously scheduled for April 18, has been postponed to an as-yet announced date.  
The Gala committee is in discussion with our sponsors, administration and event supporters to consider the safest and most effective way to hold this fundraiser to serve the school and honor our collective adjustment to the COVID-19 pandemic.  We are deeply grateful to our sponsors and community for their generous support of our school and this decision-making process.  We look forward to reconnecting with our community and celebrating our commitment to our parish school, the education ministry of the Church of St. Joseph.
