2020 Annual School GALA

April 18, 2020

Event Information

March 19, 2020

Dear St. Joseph School and Faithful Beginnings Families,

Our young event has grown exponentially over the last four years—in attendance, in number of donations solicited and donated, in creativity and most notably, Sponsorship. We are thrilled to announce that our 2020 Sponsorship giving to date is over $22,000 across 20+ businesses and individual families. This amount is double the amount of support from last year and six times as much as our event’s debut year.

It is clear our school and parish community believe in and are committed to supporting St. Joseph Catholic school.

We are humbled and energized by the outpouring of support from our community and say Thank You for joining us in our mission to provide superior Catholic education. We encourage our school families to consider our sponsors when choosing services for your family.

At this time we are considering all options for the Gala scheduled for Saturday, April 18
including postponing or moving to a virtual event. A firm decision has not been made, but one point is clear—the Gala will not be cancelled. The Catholic Schools Center of Excellence, our Archdiocesan education partner and other nonprofit resources we utilize, are producing useful tools for this type of circumstance as many other private schools and nonprofit organizations are in all finding themselves in the same situation—obligated to both safety and meeting fundraising goals. We will continue to communicate via email and social media as this event evolves.

If you have any questions, please contact us and we’d be happy to help. If you have technology skills, event planning experience or passion to join our Gala committee, please reach out to Sheila Swift. We welcome your enthusiasm and creativity as we pivot to the next evolution of this event.

Thank you to our event volunteers and cheerleaders past and present for walking with us from the beginning. The growth and excitement of our event is built on the hard work of creative and passionate people—our people. We look forward to sharing and growing our fundraising impact with you soon!

In Health,
Sheila Swift ,
