As Catholics, we have many prayers and devotionals available to us to help us grow in faith. Here at St. Joseph Community we formally offer the following prayers and devotionals:
St. Joseph Community offers Eucharistic Adoration the 1st Friday of the month in the Church Sanctuary. Adoration begins after the 8:30am Mass and closing prayers take place at 5:00pm. Prayer materials are available in the Gathering Space if desired. Occasionally, due to funerals or other Sacramental celebrations, Adoration start/end time on that Friday may vary. Contact the Parish Office at 651-423-4402 to verify the time that month or watch the bulletin for any changes.
St. Joseph Community comes together to pray the rosary in the Church Sanctuary during the weekday before the 8:30am Mass or Communion Service. The praying of the Rosary begins shortly before 8am Monday-Friday.
After the 5pm Mass, on the 1st Saturday of the Month, the Rosary is recited in the Church. After reciting the Rosary, parishioners gather to repair Rosaries and make them for those who will be receiving First Communion. All are welcome to pray, repair, and make Rosaries.
If you are new to praying the Rosary, or just need a refresher, check out this rosary guide.
The prayer chain ministry helps others through intercessory prayer. Members of the prayer chain pray for others from their homes on their own time and pray for those who are sick, dying, poor, disabled, afflicted, lonely, alienated, and the unborn. In 2018 the group prayed for over 160 specific prayer intentions. If you would like to be a prayer chain warrior to pray for others, contact us at PrayerChain@StJosephCommunity.org or the Parish Office at 651-423-4402.
